Muscat – According to the latest satellite images and analyses from the National Center for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards the tropical system is now a Category 3 Cyclone, located southwest of the Arabian Sea.
The cyclone Tej is about 500 kilometers away from the coasts of Oman; the wind speed around the center is estimated at 96 to 112 knots at 12.03 degrees North latitude and 55.33 degrees East longitude.
The Ministry has requested all citizens and residents to take caution, follow weather developments, and follow instructions.
