MUSCAT: In a major development, Oman has cancelled the mandatory PCR test requirements for fully vaccinated inbound passengers, the Supreme Committee announced on Monday.
Travellers need to present an approved Covid-19 vaccination certificate (two doses). The decision comes into effect from March 1, 2022. The committee also said face mask will be optional in open places while it will be mandatory in closed places.
The committee also allowed hotels at 100% capacity. The committee also decided to
resume the direct education system by 100% in all academic levels, while adhering to all precautionary health measures, starting from Sunday, March 6, 2022.
