MUSCAT : The Department of Heritage and Tourism in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, in cooperation with a number of sports teams specialized in adventure tourism, is organizing a desert hike in Shijat Al Jawfa in the Wilayat of Al Qabil, on Friday, October 27th.
The event coincides with Omani Youth Day, which falls on October 27 of each year; it also marks the start of the winter tourist season in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, which extends from October to May.
