Muscat – The NCEM, in coordination with the subcommittee on emergency management in Dhofar, has prepared 32 shelter centers in the Governorate, and an additional three centers in Al Wusta Governorate.
The Relief and Shelter Sector of the National Center for Emergency Management announced that it has activated shelter centers in the Governorates of Dhofar and Al Wusta Governorates during the tropical situation Tej, expected in the coming hours.

The 32 centers in various wilayats of Dhofar can accommodate 11,430 individuals. These shelters are located in Salalah, Taqah, Mirbat, Sadah, Rakhyut, Dhalkut, Maqshin, Mazyouna, Thumrait and Shalim. The 3 centres in Al Wusta Governorate are located in Al Jazer Wilayat.

All shelter centers are equipped with necessary food and water supplies.
