MUSCAT: The Ministry of Labour has declared holiday for both public and private sector employees in Dhofar Governorate and the Al Jazar Wilayat in the Al Wusta Governorate on Monday, October 23 and Tuesday, October 24 due to Cyclone Tej.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry said: “Due to the exceptional climate conditions that the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing, it has been decided that Monday and Tuesday will be an official holiday for employees in the public and private sectors in the Dhofar Governorate and the Al Jazar Wilayat in the Al Wusta Governorate.”
