MUSCAT: Sheraton Oman Hotel, the iconic landmark of the Sultanate, is inviting guests to experience scrumptious dishes, customary beverages, inspiring surroundings and enthralling music to welcome Ramadan, the Holy Month of tranquility and reflection.  The Hotel has planned an exclusive Iftar and Sohour culinary offerings along with traditional live music, activities amidst a special ambience. Ramadan activities at Sheraton Oman Hotel is sponsored by Peugeot Oman.

Sheraton Iftar Buffet

Inspired by different Arabic cultures and local Omani tastes, the Iftar buffet served at Courtyard restaurant will offer a rich array of Arabic special dishes, a whole Ouzi, several live stations, a fine selection of hot and cold starters, famous Ramadan desserts and a selection of traditional drinks such as Tamar Hindi, Laban and Qamar El Deen. Priced at OMR 15 per person, Iftar buffet is served every day from sunset to 9 PM.

Sohour Nights

A perfect setting for a special gathering, the vibrant Courtyard restaurant is also offering a sumptuous Sohour fare which guests can enjoy with their favorite shisha flavor. The Sohour set menu includes Arabic specialties dishes and traditional Ramadan beverages variety to choose from. Served from 11 PM until 2 AM at a cost of OMR 7 net per person, it includes items such as shorbat abbas soup, fish sayadieh, mini Lebanese mixed grill, warm cheese kunafa among others. The menu is also served on the terrace extending a beautiful night sky and garden view.

Gathering Packages

The premier property understands that Ramadan is a time to slow down and connect with friends and family. With a large ballroom and striking interiors, Sheraton Oman is the ideal location to celebrate Iftar and Sohour time with loved ones. With impeccable service paired with flexible facilities to suit unique requests, exclusive packages are available for a minimum of 30 people and above.

Ramadan Gift Hampers

To further enrich the celebration, Sheraton Oman has planned a Ramadan market where guests can treat themselves to a gift hamper full of exquisite sweet items. The hamper includes Arabic traditional desserts such as melt-in-the-mouth kunafa, delectable baqlawa, dates streusel, pistachio caramel crunch, mix nut cookies, sesame honey cracker and much more. The Ramadan market which will be open from 7 PM to 2 AM every day offers hampers starting from OMR 9.5.

Families looking for a staycation or getaway during Ramadan can enjoy special room rates starting from OMR 55 per night. The special package includes an overnight stay, a delectable Iftar buffet and Sohour set menu.
