Flavours of Turkey at Hormuz Grand Muscat

MUSCAT: Hormuz Grand Muscat is preparing for one of the most exciting culinary feast in the city, the Turkish night, taking place on Saturday, 27th February 2021.

Making its debut at the hotel’s popular all-day dining restaurant – Straits, the feast will showcase the best of Turkish & Ottoman cuisines, offering guests a chance to experience the most popular and delicious traditional fare where they have the chance to watch their dishes being cooked live and  interact with the chef. The culinary fiesta will be headed by Chef Fevzi, a Turkish national, who will be whipping up an extravaganza of flavours from his home country. 

Overseen by Executive Chef Thierry Quintric, Chef Fevzi will be preparing a feast with a variety of different live cooking stations, a selection of mouth-watering cold and hot Turkish mezze appetizers; the best in Turkish meat dishes including İskender kebab, a famous Turkish delicacy; Lamb chops Pirzola, whole seabass; and Lahmacun, a round, thin dough topped with minced meat, vegetables and herbs including also the “Kadayif” one of the famous Turkish desserts.



“I am honoured that my home country will be recognised at the Turkish night and I am, of course, very excited to bring guests on a true Turkish dining experience,” says Chef.  “I am so proud of the cuisine that has been created in Turkey and can’t wait to share my passion and love of this food with the people of Muscat.” 

The festival is designed for families and foodies to enjoy quality time and great food together in a lovely ambience. The buffet is priced at OMR 18 net per person.
