The move comes following the Ministry of Health issuing ministerial decision 239/2018, specifying new fees that expats and Omanis will have to pay for medical examinations in the Sultanate.
Muscat: Starting from February 2019, the cost of medical examinations fees for expatriates residing in Oman will be hiked, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced.
According to a circular issued by MOH, expatriates will now need to pay RO 30 instead of RO 10 for their medical, or triple the original amount, when they apply for a resident card. The move comes following the Ministry of Health issuing ministerial decision 239/2018, specifying new fees that expats and Omanis will have to pay for medical examinations in the Sultanate.
