MUSCAT: Wadi al-Nakhr nestled in the beautiful landscape of Wilayat of Al Hamra in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah is one of the most significant valleys in the Sultanate of Oman. 

Located five kilometres from the central area of the wilayat, the wadi is also one of the feeding tributaries of Wadi Gul Dam. The wadi starts from the summit of Jabal Shams till the Great Fault.

Owing to its breathtaking nature and vibrant serene atmosphere, the valley is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Sultanate. 

For nature lovers, adventure seekers, and mountain-climbing junkies, Wadi al-Nakhr is the place to be. There are plenty of tourist events held here throughout the year.
