MUSCAT : Wadi Mistel is considered one of the most beautiful valleys in the Wilayat of Nakhal in the Governorate of South Al Batinah, as it has many tourist sites, the most prominent of which are the villages of Wakan, Al Qura, and Al Hajar, along with other tourist sites. Wakan village is one of the most beautiful ones and attracts tourists throughout the year. It is registered with the Ministry of Tourism as a tourist destination in the Al Batinah South Governorate and receives a large number of visitors daily in Al Jabal Al Akhdar.

Wadi Mistel is about 32 km from the centre of Wilayat Nakhal, and it is about 145 km from Muscat Governorate. There are many mountain villages that are famous for growing seasonal agricultural crops in summer and winter, such as apricots, peaches, grapes, pomegranates and wild berries, in addition to many field crops, onions, garlic and legumes.
