MUSCAT: Grand Hyatt Muscat will present a world of Turkish cuisine here in Oman. This distinctive food festival will recreate the magic of Turkey from November 3 – 8, welcoming international Chef SonayOguz from Hyatt Regency Istanbul Atakoy.
Chef Sonay together with the culinary team of Grand Hyatt Muscat will take you on a food journey to share tastes of mouth-watering pide and lachmacun, diverse koftes and kebabs, all favourite mezze and türkish style desserts.
“We wish to ensure every element of our food festival truly represents Turkey and its cuisines. We have flown authentic, recognized chef directly from Turkey to Muscat to bring their age-old cooking techniques from the source to our plates here in Oman. Guests are invited to dine indoors or under the night’s sky on the hotel’s terrace, where they can enjoy a host of traditional dishes and Turkish flavors as a part of this true celebration of Turkish culture,” said the Executive Chef Ilias Doulamis at Grand Hyatt Muscat.

The 5-day festival will also offer cooking demonstrations by Chef Sonay with a maximum of eight participants per class. The session offered at OMR 25 will be inclusive of cooking demonstrations of Turkish specialties& one on one interaction with Chef Sonay.
The celebration of Turkey will end with the Turkish Friday Brunch on 8 November from 1.30 PM to 5 PM. Chef Sonay, Chef Ilias and their brigade have curated an exquisite Turkish menu featuring LIVE chef stations; Turkish Specialties & mouth-watering Turkish sweet delights.
