MUSCAT: In the first warm-up game held at the Amerat Cricket Ground, Oman Development XI stunned Ireland by four-wickets on Saturday.
Batting first, Ireland slumped to 47-6 at the 10-over mark but George Dockrell’s unbeaten 26 helped the tourist to 112-8 from their 20 overs. C
Suraj Kumar’s unbeaten 56 off 41 balls laid the foundation for Oman as they reached the target in just 15.2 overs. The T20 Internationals will begin in Muscat next week.
