MUSCAT: In an attempt to increase its Omanisation rate, the Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced plans to hire Omanis to replace expatriates across the government health insititutions in the country.

According to a statement from MoH, a total of 200 expatriate nurses will be replaced by Omani nationals.

The Ministry of Health has finalised the procedures for appointing nursing graduates through the ‘replacement process’ (replacing expatriates with nationals). Interested candidates can submit their applications from March 3 to March 14 to the recruitment department at the ministry.  The location where the expatriate nurses will be replaced with Omanis will be in Royal Hospital, Khoula hospital and hospitals in Seeb, Baushar, Buraimi, Khasab, Sohar, Haima and Jalan Bani Bu Ali.
