MUSCAT: The Dhofar Municipality Emergency Committee has intensified its efforts to deal with tropical storm Tej which is expected to make landfall on Sunday evening.
In a statement issued, the Dhofar Municipality said: “An emergency committee to discuss preparations and developments related to the tropical situation is active, and will follow up on actions taken by work teams and implement the work plan by providing public services and removing obstacles to facilitate the flow of water in valleys, as well as providing equipment, devices, and water drainage pumps.”
