Haripad Association Muscat set to celebrate 10th anniversary

MUSCAT : As part of the 10th anniversary of Haripad Association Muscat, the organizers announced in a press conference that they are organizing an art evening called “Layam 2023” at Al Falaj Hotel this coming Friday, October 6.

Film director K. Madhu will be the chief guest and the main attraction will be a musical live concert led by famous playback singer Vidhu Prathap and his band. This is the first time Vidhu Pratap is performing in Oman with his own band.

Apart from that, various artistic programs were also announced. Cochin Gold and Diamond is the main sponsor of the event under the supervision of NHP Events. Entry to the event is free but restricted by invitation.

Harippad association formed in 2013, is active in the field of philanthropy and social work. This organization was formed as a group of Haripad residents and other residents who love Haripad under the limits of Kartikapally Taluk of Alappuzha district on the 1st day of November 2013, the day of Kerala birth.

It is a very proud achievement for the people of Haripad that this association, which has completed ten years and is entering its eleventh year, has grown along with other organizations on the soil of Oman and has done exemplary work.

In the last ten years, the activities of the association are going forward with more strength by carrying out various welfare activities. In 2018, we were able to provide necessary support to those affected by the flood that occurred unexpectedly in the country under the leadership of the association.

It is also worth mentioning that under the leadership of the association, the association worked from the forefront to provide necessary assistance to those who experienced difficulties during the covid epidemic in Oman and in the country. Every year, an award is given to the children who achieve the highest marks in the 10th class and plus two examinations for excellence in academics organized for the children of the association members.

Also, insurance coverage is provided for the members of the association.

Harippad Koottayma executive committee members, Suraj Rajan, President, Rajan Cherumanasseril, Oman patron, George Mathew, Secretary, Dhanya Sasi, Joint Secretary, Aju Shivaraman, Treasurer, Jagajith Prabhakaran, Chairman and Managing Director, Cochin Gold & Diomonds, Vijay Madhav, Programme Convenor were also present.
