MUSCAT: The much-awaited 10thedition of Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition – (MIJEX), will be held from 3 to 7 December 2019 at the Hall 4 and 5, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Now on its 10th edition, the show expands offerings with new pavilions and customer upgrades, bigger exhibition space to host over 150 exhibitors from Oman, India, Italy, Austria, UK, USA, Lithuania, Kuwait, Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Turkey, Lebanon, and UAE. The exhibitors will showcase their latest jewellery collections, classic bestsellers and inspiring up-and-coming trends in 8,000 square meters of exhibition space.

Jewellery demand in Oman has sustained a brisk pace of growth in recent years. As the country’s metropolitan and capital city, Muscat has a large population of high-net-worth individuals, making it the country’s most populous city; this, plus all the advantages of being in a prime geographical location, proximity to the major population centres, and having a well-developed infrastructure and comprehensive business facilities make Muscat the ideal city to host the Muscat International Jewellery Exhibition.  

Not only does the show floor feature exciting new pavilions, but it has been completely redesigned for a more convenient shopping experience and the fair is staging its first runway show as part of the 10th year celebration. 

Adding to the fair attractions are headline pavilions: A diverse variety of products, new jewelry trends will be available at the Europe, Hong Kong, India and Jovial Watch Pavilion. 

Europe Pavilion taking their pride in their extensive knowledge as well as their exceptional customer service. They will showcase incomparable selection of designs from engagement ring, diamond and fine jewellery. 

Hong Kong Pavilion will cover all the bases, whether you’re your into couture pieces, everyday classics or more unconventional styles. A wide range of quality, designer timepieces and jewellery will be on display at the pavilion. 

India Pavilion, the wide and varied range of jewelry will surely clasp your heart, be it gold, silver or diamond, you will find everything in the India Pavilion.

JOVIAL it’s another world; the JOVIAL watches pavilion will surely bring joy and self-assurance with their 90 years in the art of Swiss watch making. 

In tandem to the many business upgrades, MIJEX always mixes business with pleasure.  This year 10th edition, Tourism Authority of Thailand will give a chance to two visitors to win a Luxury Trip to Thailand with 4 days and 3 nights hotel stay.  Also, the “Jewellery for Kings“ Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery will be organizing a raffle draw, the lucky visitor will get a chance to own one of their precious handcrafted jewellery.   

In addition, Austrian Association will be conducting an auction for children’s welfare in Oman. During the opening day of the MIJEX 2019, Dr. Wolf Bialonzcyk, the prize-winning jewel designer and worldwide renowned specialist for melo pearls, is going to auction one of his wonderful creations for the benefit of needy children in the country called Children First Association, chaired by Her Excellency Dr. Mona bint Fahad bin Mahmoud Al Said. The Auction is supported by Mr. Gerhard Lackner, the Austrian Deputy Economic Delegate in Muscat, Vega Intertrade & Exhibitions LLC, and the Austrian Association Chairman Mr. Ahmed Radwan.
