MUSCAT : In a circular issued online, the OFA announced that it is prohibiting the use of all cheering equipment (drums, tambourines, loudspeakers, trumpets, etc.) in the stands, during the various Oman league matches of the 2023/24 sports season.
The Association has, however, not specified the reasons for the decision.
The ban will be in place from the date of publication of the announcement until further notice.
All fans of local clubs and fan associations are urged to follow the restriction.
