MUSCAT: Phase two of repatriating stranded Indians from Oman will conclude on Saturday.
As many as 540 passengers will leave to three Indian destinations — Kochi, Trivandrum and Gaya in Bihar from Muscat International Airport as part of the Vande Bharat Mission.
According to sources, phase three of evacuation will begin only after June 13 and is expected to involve private airlines to increase the number of flights. Budget airline IndiGo has already confirmed that it will operate 97 repatriation flights from GCC countries including 10 from Oman.
